About Us
A Family-Owned San Francisco Roofing Contractor Since 1996
Honest assessments, repair before replace, and no overselling.
Our story
John founded Ace Roofing and Construction in 1996 with a simple idea: tell homeowners the truth about their roof. Nearly three decades later, that is still how we work. When a repair will solve the problem, we recommend the repair — even when other companies have quoted a full replacement.
We are a San Francisco company through and through. Our crew works on Victorians, Edwardians, Sunset District stucco homes, Mission flats and commercial buildings in SoMa and the Bayview, as well as homes across the Peninsula and East Bay.
The team
John founded the company and still comes out to evaluate roofs himself. Frank, John's son, helps run projects and keeps customers informed from start to finish. Luis leads crews in the field and is known in our reviews for quickly finding the real cause of a leak.
